SURF-VILLAGE

Our surf station (called "Dacha" – like Russian country house :) is located on the territory of Moses Bay Hotel (Egypt, South Sinai, town of El-Tur, 100 km. North from Sharm-El-Sheikh). El Tur is the administrative capital of South Sinai – typical quiet Arabic town, where people are nice, friendly and not yet spoiled by tourist industry.

This part of Sinai Peninsula really is a historical area – that's the place where, as they say, Moses led his folks out towards the sea after cruising around in the desert... Chances are that Moses was a kind of an ancient pro-rider as he really have chosen a great place and one of the most suitable harbors for wind- and kite-surfing in Egypt. His visit was also memorized by opening a mineral springs resort (bathing there provides remarkable impact to your health – checked personally :) nearby our place (3 km. from the station) called "Hammam Mussa" ("Moses' Bath"), currently run by Bedouins as a famous sightseeing spot, where they bring tourists even from Sharm.


So, we really got close-to-paradise surfing conditions here! This spot is quite famous in world WS community and often visited by top pros and surf-journalists for new gear tests. Stephan Beat filmed part of his cult movie "Variety" here. The harbor is big enough so it NEVER gets overcrowded. Dominating wind direction is North – West (with mostly flat water); sometimes we experience South with chop conditions. The harbor's shape makes it perfect for all kinds of riding: freestyle, freeride, slalom. It is also perfect for beginners due to flat water and safe configuration (no chance the beginner gets blown down-wind to the opened sea). No corrals to damage the boards, no divers to drive over – JUST US!

We also have pretty good waves suitable for wave riding at the harbor's entrance from the seaside. And – a special feature – we've got a secret full option WAVE SPOT in a smaller harbor just in 2 km. from the station (hotel's truck would take you and your equipment there), which gives you guys a unique opportunity to experience all variety of styles and riding conditions at one surf-spot!

We have all you may need at he station to make your stay relaxing and comfortable (if you only would be able to need anything after the whole day of windsurfing;) :
